A historical courtroom-style painting showing eleven people seated and standing in wooden jury benches. The figures wear 19th-century clothing and are arranged in two rows. Several lean toward one another in conversation, while others rest their heads on their hands or look across the room. Rich brown wood tones contrast with dark clothing and a dark background, with a green cloth and a red patterned cloth draped over the front rail in the foreground.

The Inns of Court & Selden Society Lecture: The Development of Jury Trial in England

Aerial view of a large sandy beach with a single person standing near the water’s edge. White sea foam from incoming waves stretches along the right side of the image, contrasting with the smooth, pale sand. The person appears small within the wide open landscape, casting a long shadow across the beach. The composition emphasizes scale, space, and the relationship between the individual and the natural environment. For EDI contexts, the image can be interpreted as representing inclusion and belonging through the presence of an individual within a shared public space, without specifying personal characteristics.
