Incoming Scholarships

American, Indian and New Zealand Scholars

Two scholars are selected annually by the American Inns of Court Foundation. Three scholars from New Zealand are also selected annually by a committee at Crown Law Office, headed by Justice Arnold, and one scholar from India is selected by the Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Foundation. They all come to London for a six to eight week placement. The scholars receive a stipend to help with accommodation and living expenses while they are in London. In addition to spending time in barristers’ chambers, scholars also visit various institutions such as the Supreme Court, the Faculty of Advocates in Edinburgh, the High Court in Belfast, the Royal Courts of Justice and the Old Bailey.

Scholars also have the opportunity to attend events at the four Inns of Court and explore the culture at the heart of the legal centre.

Host a Pegasus Trust Scholar

We connect international lawyers with leading Barrister's Chambers in London.

The Pegasus Scholarship Trust is reliant on the hospitality of Chambers hosting lawyers for a period of 1 - 4 weeks. Support international links by giving an international lawyer exposure to the English and Welsh Judicial System.
