An interview with Lady Helen Broughton (nee Shore) by Master David Paget. Called to the Bar in 1951 she describes her early years practising as a pupil on the Midland Circuit, the people she met, her first case and practising as a woman in an almost completely male world. She married Sir Delves Broughton in 1955 but continued her association with the Inn, and describes many friendships made through it, and her long presidency of the Bar Lawn Tennis Association.
His Honour David Paget KC was called to the Bar in 1967 and practised as a criminal practitioner becoming a judge in the Old Bailey from which he retired in 2012.
