All Inner Temple students can take part ITSA's activities and are invited to all events. ITSA hopes to achieve a number of aims:
- To promote collegiality;
- To help Inner Temple Students maximise their enjoyment of their Bar Course;
- To provide a voice for the students within the Inn;
- To provide a welcome break from Bar course work and the quest for pupillage.
ITSA aim to achieve this by running a number of pupillage application workshops, covering a number of different practice areas during the gateway period. Throughout the year, there may be a number of activities to build on your CV and skills needed for a career at the Bar.
Collegiality is promoted through a number of social events and in the past have included, the annual Burns Night supper, summer celebrations and Christmas parties. There are occasionally opportunities to interact with the other Inns, as seen with this years Inter-Inn Netball competition.
Whatever your background, interests and ambitions, if you have plenty of drive and enthusiasm this is a great committee to get involved with. If you want to stand for a position or just want more information, contact us.
We would encourage all members to read ITSA's constitution which governs members of the society.
