A free advocacy training course on Open Source Evidence, for barristers and international practitioners of five years' practice and above
Saturday 19 July 2025
In person, Inner Temple Treasury Building
9am to 5pm
Free Including lunch
Open to Members of all four Inns and international practitioners
Plus Case Analysis talk on Wednesday 15 July 2025, 5.30pm-6.30pm, in person at the Inn and online
Our in-person training day will consist of a combination of panel discussions and practical advocacy exercises, using a specifically designed mock case with expert reports. The training will feature genuine experts in analysis of OSINT as witnesses, and the Inner Temple's own advocacy trainers.
While the case being used is a criminal (war crimes) case, attendees can be of any practice area, in practice for 5 or more years.
We are anticipating a high demand for this course, so places will be by application only, completing the short online survey below, by Thursday 1 May. All applicants will be contacted by the end of May to let them know the outcome of their application.
There will also be an case analysis talk on Tuesday 15 July from 5.30 to 6.30pm, in-person at the Inner Temple but also streamed online. Applicants will need to be able to attend both these sessions to participate in the course
