A joint presentation from Teertha Gupta KC and Her Honour Marianna Hildyard KC, giving practical tips from the Bar and the Bench on the art of persuasion in family cases, including Q&A.
Teertha Gupta KC was called to the bar in 1990, became a Recorder in 2009, took silk in 2012 and became a Deputy High Court Judge for 6years in 2016. His practice is predominantly International Child Law cases. He has represented in Courts as far afield as Horsham Magistrates Court to the UK Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the EU.
Her Honour Marianna Hildyard KC was called in 1977, specialised in family law cases, became a Recorder in 1999 and was authorised to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2009. She took silk in 2002 and retired in October 2024, but continues to sit in retirement from time to time
